My spring break was a blast. I went out with some friends on Friday night and we got to hang out and got home like at 1 in the morning. Then Saturday I raced bikes at the stub hub center at the velodrome. I got a solid 8th place. Then Monday and Tuesday I worked. On Wednesday I had training with my junior development team. Thursday I had training with my other team which I race for the street. I trained so hard Wednesday and Thursday for a race on Sunday which was yesterday. Yesterday I raced and didn't go as planned. I wanted one of my friends to lead me out in the last lap but he had gassed out so I had to work by myself. Coming in the last turn I sprinted behind my teammate and when i was going to pass him he swerved causing me to almost fall so I lost speed but was able to catch him up but he won me by an inch at the finish line. It was a fun race even though I got second and thankful I didn't fall in the first 5 minutes of the races causing a few of my teammates to pull out of the race. It was also a good spring break since i made lots of money from the race, and working.
